Tensioned fabric membrane and structural frame.
Designed to attach onto the side of an existing precast concrete framed building, anchor locations are limited to beam and column junctions only.
The PVC polyester mesh membrane is divided into 5 panels and fixed to individual steel curved truss to deal with the high typhoon related wind loads. The suspension rods are calculated to deal with compression loads as uplift. These elements create uninterrupted, column free space as an extension of the architectural design intent.
