Tensioned fabric structure

A small, high-level, outdoor terrace with a prime view is well appreciated by the club’s members. A refurbishment upgraded the space & an appropriate weather covering was, naturally, required. LIGHTWEIGHT WORKS designed a dramatic high-point structure with a feature inclined mast that was finished with high quality detailing.

The structure creates a welcoming space, protected from the weather, incorporating the existing trees, & opening up to the priceless view.

The challenge of this task was distributing the imposed loads into the existing structure without exceeding constraints. LIGHTWEIGHT WORKS did this successfully & concealed, creating a beautiful & high-class private club experience.
